This is a remote position.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our client’s growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Practice Owner and Team Leader, handling end-to-end bookkeeping tasks including reconciliations, payroll processing, BAS/IAS preparation, and direct client communication. Job Responsibilities:
- Working directly under the practice owner and Team Leader.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Review P & L Statements - yes
- Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts -
- Review Balance Sheet accounts
- Preparing clients BAS Statements -
- Preparing IAS Statements
- Processing client’s payrolls
- Processing superannuation
- Communicate directly with clients.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping practice (min. 1 year AU accounting or bookkeeping experience required)
- Tertiary Accounting Qualifications – BS Accountancy
- Strong knowledge of Australian GST & PAYG
- Australian Payroll
- Superannuation
