A dynamic digital agency is looking for a junior WordPress Developer to handle basic website projects for their clients. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Shopify and Squarespace. This role involves managing and executing small-scale web development tasks, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery, and supporting their existing team.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain basic websites using WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace. Implement client requests and make necessary updates and changes to existing websites. Ensure all websites are responsive and optimized for various devices. Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliverables. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance. Provide regular updates on project progress and status.
Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization. Very good knowledge of Shopify and Squarespace platforms. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Understanding of web hosting and domain management. Previous experience in a similar role.
